Koi Sports Bar and Dancing Lounge Opens at Grand Velas Riviera Maya

The "Beyond All-Inclusive, Beyond All-Compare" Grand Velas Riviera Maya has added the Koi Sports Bar and Dancing lounge, a new entertainment option to its luxury all inclusive offerings. Highlights of Koi include a Black Diamond Screen 231" HDTV 16:9 with Apple TV providing viewing of top shows and sports events. A DJ spins the latest hits for guests' listening and dancing pleasure with a dedicated dance floor. The casually elegant ambiance features indoor and outdoor seating, and comfortable seating groups for friends to meet and enjoy the wide range of frosty beers, signature cocktails and a menu of light bites.

In the Zen wing of the resort, Koi seats 140 indoors and 100 in the outdoor terrace overlooking a lush jungle setting. It is open from Tuesday through Sunday, 6 p.m. to 3 a.m. With the opening of Koi, this brings the wide variety of food and beverage offerings to eight restaurants, four bars and lounges and two swim up bars.

Koi is named for a lovely fish prized for its ornamental quality which glistens in the sun, and is often thought to symbolize good fortune.
