From along the Yucatan coast, you can see Isla Mujeres rising from the Caribbean Sea. And it's easy to take a day trip to this special place with convenient service on the UltraMar ferry. The Gran Puerto (UltraMar) ferry dock is located in Puerto Juarez, just a few minutes from downtown Cancun. The ferry departs every half-hour, from 5:00 AM to 8:30 PM, then once per hour at 9:30 PM, 10:30 PM and 11:30 PM. Your journey lasts approximately 15 minutes and the fare is 80 pesos each way. The final return ferry from Isla Mujeres leaves the island at 12:00 AM.
