Floating Sound Bath Now Offered at Grand Velas Riviera Maya

New Holistic Wellness Offering Adds to the Extensive Wellness Program at the Luxury All-Inclusive Resort

Riviera Maya, Mexico (August 19, 2024) - Grand Velas Riviera Maya expands their wellness offerings by introducing a floating sound bath class for small groups. As wellness-infused travel continues to grow as one of the hottest travel trends this year, travelers are increasingly looking to incorporate unique wellness experiences into their vacations. Social media has introduced many travelers to sound baths and meditation, another growing trend in the wellness industry that helps travelers to slow down and center themselves in the midst of a busy and chaotic world. In addition to the extensive wellness programming and amenities at the AAA Five Diamond all-inclusive resort, Grand Velas Riviera Maya now offers a floating sound bath meditation taking place in the resort's Zen Grand pool, surrounded by lush greenery and the Mayan jungle. The experience allows guests to experiment with balance, mindfulness and sound in a serene setting on the Yucatan Peninsula. Ideal for small groups, family and friends, bachelorette trips, and mini corporate retreats, this six person, 30-minute wellness offering will enhance any traveler's pursuit of ultimate relaxation.

Floating meditation helps the body to relinquish control and achieve maximum relaxation with the gentle movement provided by floating in water, allowing participants to focus on mastering their minds and living in the present moment. During the experience, one guide will be in the pool to help guests move freely on their floating mats while another instructor will walk guests through a sound bath and meditation. The vibrations of Tibetan bowls, breathing exercises, and a guided meditation help participants enter a state of mental fullness, peace and serenity, enabling them to start or end the day with complete tranquility. Other wellness offerings at the all-inclusive resort include hydrotherapy ceremonies at the world-class SE Spa, spa treatments inspired by local Mexican culture, annual wellness retreats, fitness classes, and more.

The floating sound bath meditation costs $320 USD for six guests. The workshop must be booked in advance. For reservations or additional information, call 1-888-407-4869, or visit www.rivieramaya.grandvelas.com.
