Second Time Around Wedding Packages Feature Personalized Ceremonies With Participation of Family Members and Live Broadcast for Loved Ones at Home

"Beyond All-Inclusive, Beyond All-Compare" Grand Velas Resorts Cater to Couples Remarrying or Marrying Later in Life

Riviera Nayarit, Mexico (May 15, 2014) -- Couples remarrying or getting married later in life enjoy special perks at the AAA Five Diamond Grand Velas Resorts in the Riviera Maya and Riviera Nayarit, including personalized ceremonies using as many family members as wanted and live video streaming of the wedding for extended family and friends who cannot attend. As part of the Second Time Around Wedding Collections, a Grand Velas wedding coordinator can help create unique ceremonies representing the coming together of two families or welcoming of step-children into the lives of their step-parents; examples include a candle lighting ceremony, sand blending ceremony, sea shells ceremony, or any other type of ritual the couple have in mind. If the bride and groom have elderly family or grown sons or daughters with children of their own who cannot attend, all can see the ceremony in real time with a live feed broadcasted from the resort. Additionally, the collections include everything from the services of an on-site wedding coordinator, to private airport transportation, to cocktail hour and dinner, to the honeymoon night and more.

The Second Time Deluxe Collection at both resorts includes a special wedding ceremony on the beach and the cost of a minister for a Huichol Ceremony, based on the faith of the area's indigenous Huichol Indians, or other non-denominational ceremony, which can be personalized to fit the family's needs. For an additional cost, friends and family can watch a live broadcast of the after-ceremony toast with sparkling wine, which is also included in the package. The wedding couple can prepare for pampering, starting with a suite for the bride-to-be and bridal party at both resorts for up to six hours, perfect for pre-wedding beautification, pictures and even a toast with sparkling wine for the bride's special day. The newly-married couple can also indulge in a complimentary honeymoon night in a luxury suite with wine and strawberries, romantic breakfast in bed, couple's treatment in the resort's Leading Spa of the World and an additional 10 percent savings on all other spa services.

The Second Time Premium Collection includes all of the features of the Second Time Deluxe Collection, with an added cocktail-hour with open bar and chef's selection of appetizers. The option also includes a four-hour open bar, three-course plated menu and classic wedding cake for the reception. The wedding is catered by lauded chefs at each resort, which are known for their gourmet dining. Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit is home to three AAA Four Diamond restaurants, while Grand Velas Riviera Maya houses the first restaurant in any all-inclusive resort to receive Five Diamonds in 100 years of AAA.

At Grand Velas Riviera Maya, the Second Time Deluxe Collection package starts at $2,900 and the Second Time Premium Collection starts at $4,250. At Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit, the Second Time Deluxe Collection starts at $2,600 and the Second Time Premium Collection starts at $3,500. All starting prices feature a ceremony only for up to ten guests, while additional guests can attend the ceremony for $80 each. Group or individual private airport transportation for wedding guests is included with all packages.

Grand Velas Resorts' all-inclusive rates include luxury accommodations, guaranteed ocean view, a la carte gourmet meals at a variety of specialty restaurants, premium branded beverages, 24-hour in-suite service, fitness center with sessions with a personal trainer, taxes, gratuity and more.
