I'd recommend this to any couple needing a week away from the kiddos.

Just the most amazing food, service, rooms, and staff. I am spoiled forever by this experience. I couldn’t have asked for more. The most incredible place and spa in the world.

5* for our amazing concierges Alfonso & Braulio who made our vacation. They were the completely shining light in our vacation. A few thoughts about the Grand Velas in general. It is not quite clear who it is a great option for. The pool is lovely and the resort has the advantage of being small. I think it is a great option if you - Want a very quiet vacation - Like a pool vacation that is adjacent to the sea (but not a beach vacation) - Like very long and drawn out dinners - Dislike buffets. It wasn't for us as we were looking for something that was sort of four seasons but AI adjacent with kids. And it wasn't that. But I am just saying this was more of a taste thing. When we were there the kids clubs had no one in them, and indeed we took a bus ride to the zen club and then there were no kids and empty of counsellors too! I would suggest if you come here you do a lot of room service...
