We had a week vacation in January and stayed at the Grand Velas, WOW!!! I cannot tell you how impressed we were of this property, service and accomodation. It was out of this world. The hotel is absolutely beautiful. They treated us like royalty...amazing. Rooms with private pool. I would recommend this hotel. Dream vacation...loved it! Still dreaming about it!!!

As you know, we are bigfans of Grand Velas and have been for years. The new resort truly remarkable - there is nothing of it's size that compares anywhere in the Caribbean. The infrastructure, the staff - and the training they have received - and above all the dining experiences make the resort truly one of a kind. We have not had a single customer who has come away disappointed - whether as individuals or members of a group. All have said that they loof forward to returning.

We just completed a business meeting in the Cancun/Mayan Riviera region of Mexico with approx. 180 attendees. Numerous attendees arrived early or departed late to enjoy the area while also attending the working business meeting sessions at the Grand Velas. Prior to the event, several people were nervous about the trip because of the negative media coverage of Mexico. But we reassured them as to the nature/location of the issues, and everyone had a wonderful time and realized that the media was not very familiar with the geography of Mexico (as they now realize Cancun is very hospitable as always and very far away from the border issues). Our group had individual activities in the cities, in the countryside and along the waterfront all along the coast from Cancun to Puerto Aventuras without any incidents whatsoever. And of course, some of the younger attendees enjoyed the fabulous clubs in Playa del Carmen and remarked specifically how safe they felt as they walked along 5th avenue and

You and your staff catered to every need for our group both graciously and professionally. As our group coordinator, I appreciated the detailed attention for our events which made our group dinners and events exceed everyone???s expectations. Our group welcome and farewell dinners were five star quality in both taste and presentation. I would also like to thank you for sending the Chef to assist us with our meal selections at Cocina De Autor. The special ???off menu??? meal he prepared just for our hospitality team was truly a memorable dining experience! The service we received was exceptional. Our server was both knowledgeable and personable. I will recommend the Grand Velas Resort and Spa to everyone for any future corporate events or personal vacations! Thank you all!
