I stayed here for a conference put on by my employer. It was the most amazing experience. The staff was fantastic and so accommodating to my limited Spanish. The rooms were fabulous and so was the food! I will come back with my family next year.

We have been to Grand Velas several times and continue to return because of the wonderful people who work there. The resort is awesome, the suites are beautiful, the food is fabulous, the sunrises over the ocean are beyond description, and the grounds are immaculate. However, the main reason we continue to return is because of the people! They work tirelessly and take great pride in making sure their guests have a great experience. The good service starts when you arrive and continues until you depart. Special thanks on our most recent trip to Luis, Orlando, Alberto, Tayde, and Gorge at the pol and on the beach. There are others who provided great service in other areas and in restaurants. The people who kept our room and Janey,our concierge, were fantastic. I also want to acknowledge a gentleman named Hector who has worked at Grand Velas many years. We recognize him because he is one of those familiar faces you remember if you go back over the years. He cleans the restrooms by the pool and sweeps sand off the steps and walkway that go down to the beach.. He treats his work like it is the most important job in the resort and smiles enthusiastically when you speak to him. He is a great example of doing a job to the best of your ability to assure guests at Grand Velas have a great experience in a very special place. We hope we will be able to return again in the future to see these fine people again.

What an incredible experience with delicious courses of French food. Our server, Francisco, was very helpful, prompt and exceptional at his job. All the food and staff are top notch!!
