Omg! I love it! The bathrooms are huge the view the time they took to provide the guests what they will need and wants . I want to work there 🥰

We had 5 nights at Grand Velas Riviera Maya. A long overdue vacation/work trip. We never left the resort. The rooms were great, super comfortable beds. We were in the Ambassador building with a patio overlooking the beach at the far end of the pool area. The service was superb every day. We spent the first day in the Ambassador pool (family pool) and the rest of our days at the Grand pool (no kids). Dinner reservations are a must. Sin Lin, great dinner and delicious dessert. We didn’t get to try what our server deemed their “signature dish”, pad Thai with shrimp, which is a shame but what we had was great. The most stand out dinner was by far at Piaf. I had the spiced butter shrimp and it was the best meal I had the whole time. The other dinners we had were at Azul, Luca, and we had a work banquet on property the second night which had a bit of everything and was fantastic! We had a few room service breakfasts and the rest at Bistro. I had chilaquiles several times. I tried both sauces, and they were both delicious but my favorite was the red sauce. The mango yogurt smoothie was sublime! For breakfasts my husband had omelettes (chorizo, mushroom, cheese) and Huevos Veracruz. All were great. For drinks, try the mezcalitas. We had lunch by the pool a few days - the nachos with steak were a delightful surprise and the shrimp cocktail, while an unlikely choice, was also fantastic. Both recommended by the poolside server and both were delicious! The people, the staff, took such good care of us at every turn. Everyone was welcoming, helpful, attentive. We felt so well taken care of. It was a wonderful stay!

Honest review of Grand Velas Riviera Maya - 10/10 This review is a year overdue, but checking into Moon Palace this year finally pushed me to write it. Our stay at Grand Velas was a perfect 10/10, and it's become the benchmark we now hold every all-inclusive in Mexico and the Caribbean against. Unfortunately, Moon Palace didn't come close to matching the level of service, aesthetic beauty, and overall class that Grand Velas delivered. The service was fantastic from start to finish. The rooms were genuinely high-end - beautifully designed and styled with real attention to detail. We had our own private en-suite pluge pool, perfect for dipping our feet in and unwinding, and overlooking the jungle. The staff welcomed us so graciously, even greeting us with a complimentary local mezcal. The food was exceptional throughout. Honestly, our only regret was booking three nights instead of five. We'd return in a heartbeat - and next time, we'll stay longer. 10/10. Highly recommended.
