Luxury Riviera Maya Hotel Reviews

We stayed at Grand Velas Riviera Maya over Spring break this year and had a wonderful time. The weather was absolutely beautiful, and the restaurants were incredible-every meal felt like a special occasion. The service was amazing the moment we arrived: they truly treat you like royalty. The resort never felt overcrowded, even during spring break. Pool service was attentive, friendly, and staff were always right there to serve you. Notably for us was Humberto, Reuben, and Humberto, they did and exceptional job taking care of us! The kids 9 and 13 loved the kids/teen center and would stop there almost every day. Unfortunately a few day into our trip our 9 year old got sick, high fever and cough. Our concierges Nicolas and Francisco went above and beyond--they arranged a doctor to come visit us on site and were very helpful in helping us navigate prescription fulfillment. They even had balloons and a stuffed animal delivered to the room! We are already planning a trip back. The resort is amazing but staff like Nicolas and Francisco are what take it to the next level and are the reason we are coming back! Highly recommend GVRM

My wife and I came here to celebrate a huge business milestone—the grand opening of our 15th location—and we couldn't have picked a better spot. From the moment we arrived, the service was world-class and made us feel truly celebrated. We stayed in the Grand Class section, and having a private plunge pool with ocean views was the perfect way to unwind. The food at Cocina de Autor was easily some of the best we’ve ever had. If you’re looking for a place to celebrate something special, this is it. We had an amazing time and will definitely be back!
